Board Meeting Locations

All Wellsville Central School Board of Education meetings will be held in the Secondary School LGI Room 304 at 6:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted.  Current school year meeting dates and times can be found on the Board of Education home page.  Any questions should be directed to the District Clerk at 585-596-2170.

Public Comment Expectations

Public Comment Expectations per Board Policy #1510

  1. All public comment during “Community Speaks” will be courteous and respectful.  This means that all speakers must conduct themselves in a civil manner and no obscene language, harassing language, defamatory statements, and/or threats of violence are permitted.
  2. The Board will designate a specific portion of its meeting agenda for public comment for a period of up to 30 minutes on agenda items only.
  3. The public is not permitted to discuss topics unrelated to the District, matters unrelated to the agenda, and/or matters involving specific individuals.
  4. Each speaker will be allowed up to three minutes.  The Board may request, but will not require, speakers identify themselves.
  5. The Board is not required to allow speakers to cede their remaining time to other speakers.
  6. Written comments may be directed to the Board.

 

Community members may sign up for public comment at the beginning of the board meeting with the District Clerk.
