Respect, character, gratitude, attitude, and empathy are some of the essential lessons our secondary school students experienced from speaker and author Ed Gerety earlier this week. Ed’s message was filled with optimism and enthusiasm.   A sophomore stated, “Mr. Gerety really made me think about how important it is for me to remember to thank all of the important people in my life who have helped me get to where I am today.” A senior commented, “I appreciated Ed’s message. He was so energized and on point. It hit me hard but in a good way. I can’t wait to read his book.”
