WES PE Classes Complete Kids Heart Challenge

Throughout the month of February, the PE classes have been working hard to raise donations and awareness for The American Heart Association by participating in the Kids Heart Challenge. There are two goals of the program. The first is to raise money to assist children who have serious heart-related medical conditions. The second goal is to help students understand their heart and how they can keep it healthy. Wellsville Elementary School raised almost $12,000. That blew away the goals set by our PE teachers! A big thank you goes to Mr. Peacock, Mr. Wolfley, and Miss George for putting together this event! Thank you to the Wellsville Community for supporting the American Heart Association and Wellsville Elementary’s One Pride!
