Welcome to the Elementary School
The mission of Wellsville Elementary School is to produce motivated problem solvers who will develop into responsible lifelong learners. We accomplish this mission by creating a nurturing environment where students, parents and dedicated staff learn together.
The Wellsville Elementary Building will be closed from Friday, 4/19- Sunday 4/28 for our capital improvement projects; there will be no access to the school building.

Odyssey of the Mind
All 5 of our teams placed at competition today and 4 of the teams placed 1st and are headed to States in Binghamton at the end of the month! Congratulations to everyone involved!
The National Geographic GeoBee is an annual geography contest sponsored by the National Geographic Society. The Geobee, held every year, is open to students in the fourth through eighth grades in participating schools from across the United States. This year Wellsville Elementary hosted our school contest on January 23rd. This year’s competition started with 17 students and our winner was a fourth grader, Justin Buchholz. Justin answered several questions related to states, capitals, geography, and interesting facts about the world. Congratulations Justin!
New Report Cards PK-5
Information regarding the NEW Wellsville Elementary Standard Based Report Card. Parent-Teacher Confernce Night will be December 6th from 3:15- 7:30; all reportcards not picked up by December 6th will be mailed home.
WNY Stem Award
WNY STEM awarded Wellsville Elementary School as one of 5 schools in the WNY region as a 2018 Accomplished School on the Move! Wellsville Elementary was highlighted for their broadcasted announcements using a green screen, the Twin Tiers Makers Expo, the STEAM/STEM learning visits, the integration of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math into classes, and use of the Maker Space/VR room. Congratulations to our staff and students for all of their great work!
